We are currently seeking an Enterprise Messaging Specialist for our facility in Parsippany, NJ!

This position is responsible for providing efficient and reliable computing platforms to support and maintain the Information Technology environment. The position provides technical leadership to other teams and assists as advanced support for operations and end-users. Specific priorities include: support existing Messaging environment and the administration of the messaging environment, system/data backups and restore procedures, infrastructure standardization and end-user support.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

 Developing, implementing, and adhering to strong system administration techniques and procedures.Administration and maintenance of the corporate messaging achitecture, Exchange 2003, RIM Blackberry Services.Participating in the development, migration, and maintenance of the corporate computing architecture.Participate in the planning, building, upgrading and maintenance of the Window servers.Understand and be willing to work with change management, Validation procedures.Assisting System Engineering staff in the use and day-to-day management of systems and related periphery equipment.Participating in support and on-call rotation.Providing detailed documentation of all implementations, changes and solutions.Perform other tasks requested by management.Any other duties as requested.

 

The following are the requirements for this position:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar; or equivalent experience.Current certifications in Microsoft technology preferred.One to four (1-4) years of experience as a computer professional.Experience with MS Outlook and RightFAX a plus.Knowledge of data communications and telecommunications.Must be able to perform assigned duties with minimal or no supervision.Strong organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively communicate technical information with a wide variety of users.A businessperson with excellent management, communication and strategic skills who can balance highly technical issues with a successful business model.Strong problem solving skills.Ability to stay “one step ahead” of potential problems, and deal with them accordingly to ensure resolution as efficiently as possible.Flexible schedule and ability to work late hours if needed due to project demands.
