Technical expert needed for Maintenance Choice Project.
-- Architecture, design, development and implementation of WebSphere Process Server based enterprise mission critical project
-- Coaching developers and promoting best practices on modeling/developing business processes in WebSphere Integration Developer
-- Discovery/ assessment activities and, mapping key business requirements to process design activities.
-- Ensure process design to satisfy improved business performance and innovation by addressing constantly changing business needs. Ensuring that proposed technology encompass the end-to-end process which helps business leaders see the value of their functional contributions to the broader performance objectives for an enterprise process.
-- Promoting the technological enablement of Business Process Management (BPM).
-- Understanding the business implication of process-centric IT in striving to achieve process excellence
Hands-on experience with WebSphere Integration Developer and WebSphere Process Server (Implementing Process server in other large companies)
Must have developed/architected WebServices and deep knowledge on WebService standards, such as WSDL, SOAP, JSR-WS
Demonstrating a deep understanding of process architectures, SOA concepts
Experience in re-engineering existing IT applications into Integration/ SOA services.
Full development lifecycle experience from architecture through deployment.
Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience
Broad architectural experience, across OS (Windows, UNIX), Database (DB2), application server (J2EE, WebSphere Application Server) and other technologies (WebSphere MQ, JMS, Struts, JSF, etc.)
Comprehension of how human-based and system-based processes impact cross-functional interactions, business events and integrations





 

 

Position Summary

 



The Sr Application Development Technical Lead is proficient in all critical functions for the application(s) assigned, and is expected to champion SDLC methods and best practices on the team to ensure quality standards are met. Responsible for the design/redesign, development and implementation of technical solutions, incorporating peripheral knowledge of other internal applications and related technologies in the analysis and design. Adhere to established methodologies, standards and guidelines.

 

Duties

 



Responsible to work independently or participate in small to mid-size projects completing complex work requests under minimal guidance. Accountable to formulate/define system scope and objectives for deliverables ensuring established timelines and cost estimates are maintained. Provide ongoing production support and maintenance as assigned, which may include rotational 24x7 on-call support or code implementation efforts. Effectively present information and respond to questions either one-on-one or to groups, including formal presentations and regular status to management and business partners. Share technical and business expertise with other team members and business partners. Work to understand business, functional and technical issues to effectively apply technical solutions. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and desired results. Participate in internal quality assurance review and post implementation support and system enhancements. Additionally, facilitate meetings with both technical and business audiences, often across multiple functional departments. May instruct, direct and check the work of other staff assigned to the project. Identify areas for improvement, present recommendations and champion changes. Keep apprised on industry best practices. Play lead role as needed in technically complex phases of projects/initiatives, take accountability for technical quality and workability of solutions.

 

Experience

 



At least 6 or more years of relevant application development experience in referenced skill sets. Demonstrated successful completion of several medium to large-scale projects with proficiency working on all phases of SDLC. Solid knowledge of and experience with problem determination and resolution through research and fact-finding. Clear and concise communication and presentation skills are required to facilitate meetings with both technical and business audiences, often across multiple functional departments. Experience in leading technical aspects of a project effectively. Experience managing customer requirements or demands.
