This personalized level of service, combined with the market reach and technical resources of the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) member firms and their affiliates, enables us to respond to the complex and diverse needs of our clients around the world.  In the U.S., the Deloitte FAS practice consists of approximately 1,000 professionals.   In 2008, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP (Deloitte FAS) will open a new facility in Hermitage, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work.  Deloitte FAS' E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") will increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte FAS' e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment.  The EDSC will be an important foundation from which we can launch our effort to seize a leadership position in a market expected to reach $4 Billion in service revenue by 2010.  We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Deloitte FAS' Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.   The EDSC will be a 24x7, 365 days a year operation.  This role will be for a 2nd shift position.  The position will be located in Hermitage, Tennessee which is located outside of Nashville.      We are currently seeking qualified Quality Assurance Technicians.  The Quality Assurance (QA) Technicians will test and validate customer data in all stages of the processing environment.  QA Technicians will trace detected errors to source and record findings, and will conduct ongoing research and troubleshooting of recurring issues and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.  The QA Technicians will also maintain and improve applications, procedures, and documentation to ensure high quality throughout the production process.     Job Responsibilities: §         Compare data outputs to job specifications §         Validate that correct data has been selected to process for job §         Ensure that correct filtering, mapping and processing of data has been applied §         Conduct sampling of TIF and HTML renderings of data §         Identify quality issues and report to the QA lead §         Before shipment to client, test final job data for accuracy and load into third party applications to assure functionality §         Perform online tests of data in Deloitte FAS' proprietary tools §         Run stored SQL queries to compare and assess data from different platforms and locations §         Perform final inspection of all job deliverables before packing and shipping to client  Qualifications: §         2-year degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, etc.) required. Bachelor's degree preferred §         1-2 years of Quality Assurance experience §         Basic MS SQL Query Analyzer, MS Access, MS Excel skills §         Experience in fast-paced production environments working under deadlines §         Excellent communication and problem-solving skills §         Ability to work with many different file and data types §         Ability to work with business process management system §         Law firm or litigation experience preferred §         Excellent knowledge of processing software and hosting to include load file specifications and formats About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
