Description:

Our expertise is providing custom technical solutions to federal clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic area, specializing in complex, multi-tier application development projects, utilizing technologies such as NET, ASP, XML, Visual Basic, Java, SharePoint and other MS Products. In addition, we are known for providing strong database architecture including data modeling, database design/ implementation, portal architecture/implementation, and performance tuning/benchmarking in Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase environments, as well as Systems integration. http://www.inforeliance.com/.

Interested candidates can be either a W2 Employee or 1099 Consultant: Salaries or hourly rates are negotiable and commensurate with experience and current market rates. Employees are eligible for an up-to 10% of salary annual bonus plan and immediate benefits.

The positions are located 30 minutes from Columbia, South Carolina.

Candidates can:
• Live locally in SC and commute daily
• Willing to relocate permanently with some relo assistance from us (can stay in one of our furnished corporate apartments for free temporarily) with paid rental car & paid flights home until you find permanent housing and are fully relocated.
• Live permanently out of town and stay in one our furnished corporate apartment free on indefinite basis, with paid rental car, per diem of 30.00 a day some paid flights.

All candidates need to be able to start 3-4 weeks after acceptance. 2-3 is highly preferred (or sooner).

Currently we have one of the largest SharePoint practices in the Washington, DC area and we are seeking several Senior Web Developers to design, develop and implement MOSS 07 Web Parts and Applications for a large portal. The ideal candidate would possess both a SharePoint and .Net/C# development background, however, infoReliance will definitely consider strong .Net/C# candidates without SharePoint and will train if those candidates have superior technical development, a foundation in software lifecycle management (CMMI, Agile, SCRUM, etc) and solid consultative skills/experience.

These resources will perform the following functions:

Overall design of the portal components, Web Parts, and any required custom extensions, as well as integration with Active Directory and other legacy data sources to support account provisioning functions

Serve as an onsite technical developer of SharePoint portal solutions and as a senior technical advisor on the team

Work with Project Manager and Technical leader to organize tasks and estimate delivery time

Develop and deploy SharePoint Portal solution and .NET applications

Work closely with content designers and other developers who will require mentoring on the Microsoft platform and tools, and guidance on the most technically sound approach to developing a solution.



Requirements: 

Candidates MUST BE US CITIZENS and clearable.

Bachelors with 4 years of experience OR 8 years in a Web Development environment

1) Demonstrated experience with SharePoint Development including:
• 2-4 years experience in SharePoint specific design, development and maintenance for large clients with high volume access and 5-8 years overall experience.
• Intermediate to extensive knowledge of SharePoint Portal Server (SPS). Strong knowledge of MOSS 07 including workflow and content management. Strong proficiency in WSS 2.0, WSS 3.0, and/or Microsoft SharePoint Server 2003.
• Intermediate to extensive Design experience for customizing SharePoint templates, style sheets and interfaces.
• Experience with Information Architecture.
• Microsoft Office System and its integration with SharePoint.

2) Demonstrated experience with .Net architecture, including:
• At least 4 years designing and implementing .Net solutions in a production environment using C# and VB.NET.
• Detailed understanding of the Common Language Runtime, component-oriented development, object-oriented development and the .Net object model.
• At least 4 years professional experience developing complex, n-tier applications, including:
• At least 4 years experience with Visual Basic and/or C#
• At least 2 years experience with ASP or ASP.NET.
• At least 2 year experience operating within a proven software development methodology.
• Extensive Web development programming experience on MS platform using .Net/C#, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML/XSL/XSD.

3) Experience with Active Directory: 
• Experience with Server configurations and administration including Internet Information Services 6.0, Component Services, Global Assembly Cache, etc.
• Experience working with a creative designer or creative design team.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Good knowledge of Windows-based network topologies and protocols, including the configuration and administration of networked PC's and servers.

4) At least 3 years of in-depth SQL Server experience including:
• Programming with T-SQL to create stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions, and complex SQL statements.
• Data Modeling (entity relationship diagramming).
• Design and Implementation.

5) At least 5 years experience with full life cycle development in a Software Engineering capacity, including:
• Consulting with clients to define needs or problems.
• Active involvement in the design and implementation of software systems including requirements gathering and assessment.
• Use of Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 with Team Foundation Services, Visual SourceSafe, SourceVault or comparable tool.
• Ability to give and take constructive criticism for code reviews and process management.
• Ability to generate technical documentation for end users, system engineers, and/or developers.

6) Consultant oriented skills and responsibilities, including:
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Experience working directly with customers, including producing and conducting technical presentations.
• Extensive client facing consulting experience with a 'Can Do' attitude.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze, evaluate and solve problems of a difficult process or technical nature with strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
