Job Description Service Sales Representative IV  Sales of Advanced Customer Services (formerly APS).  Target Market in Enterprise level Oracle installbase customers in the United States The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in the following  areas: ·Consulting, Outsourcing and Solution Selling·A solid understanding of Oracle products and practical experience in implementation, operations, hosting or support   Brief Posting Description   The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in the following areas: ·  Sales of Software Services ·  A solid understanding of Oracle products and practical experience in implementation, operations, and support Detailed Description     As a member of Oracle's Support Sales organization, you will promote, market and sell support services to Oracle’s high profile, large installed customers and represent Support in complex negotiation cycles in targeted accounts.    Preferred SkillsLeading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions. Minimum 5 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred. Assigned to large accounts. Extensive understanding of Support infrastructure; ability to position value of Support in competitive situations; fluent understanding of accounts. Demonstrated ability in achieving aggressive sales goals; capable and ready to engage in complex customer situations with shortest notice. Routinely acts independently in driving financial and operational plans for Oracle’s customers. Assists less experienced sales representatives. Plans and orchestrates customer visits for important large customers. Requires ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Demonstrated leadership skills. ·Understands principles and concepts of computer architecture and usage·Has experience in technical capacity: support sales, high tech sales, consulting sales·Understands business use of Oracle products, services, and future directions·Understands criticality of Support Services· Excellent presentation skills to the executive level·Able to manage forecast and close cycles to meet strict time constraints·Handles objections and meets demanding requirements for information from customers in real-time·Has understanding of service industry and different nuances between product and service sales·Presents technical ideas clearly and checks for understanding at all levels in customers·Handles stressful situations effectively, without issues and not requiring escalation·Proven ability to partner effectively within and outside immediate team to achieve desired business results ·Projects a positive and professional image to both customers and the Support Sales Organization·Thoroughly understands business practices and company policies.·Can foster beneficial relationships with customers and internal Oracle LOBs  ·Continues development of extensive technical knowledge of Oracle products, services, and their uses·Plans and orchestrates customer visits for important large Oracle customers Travel: 25-50%  "Oracle supports workforce diversity." Prior to any consideration for this opportunity, Oracle requires that you complete the following process:  · Logon to https://irecruitment.oracle.com and create a user profile· Keyword search IRC1020386· Apply    Contact Information
