Description Organization:  Public Service Location:  Bethesda, MD Accenture’s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our client’s move ahead of the competition. The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office. The responsibilities of this position include:  Analyze code and test software changes from requirements specifications.  Ensure finished product meets requirement objectives Produce complete and accurate documentation based on program standards Work with project leads to confirm and substantiate functional and technical designs Create design documentation Assist with configuration of application software Provide production support including problem analysis, testing and system enhancements Translate business needs into system and software requirements Coordinate submission of change management request and verify record assignment tracking and closure Position may require some after hours work and minimal travel, 1-2 weeks per year  Qualifications  Basic Qualifications:  Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance 2 years experience with Applications Development Preferred Skills:  2 years professional experience in information technology or client services industry 1 year of PeopleSoft Applications design and development experience in at least 1 large scale PeopleSoft implementation Application development experience with PeopleSoft Development Toolset, PeopleTools, SQR and/or Cognos Development Toolset Good understanding of software life cycle Undergraduate degree preferably in a technology related field or 3 years related experience Professional Skills:  Ability to interact and communicate with clients Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment  To submit resume online Click Here  Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
