Maxim’s Mission Services capabilities (including command and control, satellite communications, multilevel security and trusted information sharing) will join Accenture National Security Services practice to help Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Agencies and Federal Agency clients achieve high performance. The Configuration Management Consultant will interface directly with program management, engineering, and production personnel to implement CM procedures, develop and update Standard Operating Procedures, and develop recommendations for process improvement.  Collaborates with government team members, software engineers, equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development of satellite and ground systems associated with the MUOS program and integration at the Navy Satellite Operations Center.  The candidate will be part of a Satellite Communications team supporting test, installation and training of a military SATCOM program including satellites and ground systems at multiple sites.  The Configuration Management Analyst will perform the following activities and duties:   Manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) Develop CM plans Coordinate contractor deliveries and government review of program documentation Plan and participate in functional configuration audits and physical configuration audits Review prime contractor CM plans and processes Manage the government’s Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) Develop candidate approaches for program software CM Mentor and train junior team members Travel to different work locations may be required. Sites may include but are not limited to:  PT Mugu, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Sunnyvale, CA, Scottsdale, Newtown, PA.  Qualifications  Basic Qualifications:  Secret clearance - active or capable of obtaining Bachelors degree in the field of Technology or Software Engineering or 10 years of relevant experience 5 years of work experience with 3 years being in large program configuration management using CM standards and operations, such as MIL-HDBK-61, CMMI, or equivalent Preferred Skills:  Working knowledge of CM tools (eg. DOORS) Experience with software and firmware “build procedures" Supervisory experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Professional Skills:  Highly organized and detail oriented Able to accurately record decisions and action items in meeting minutes and create review copy quickly Emphasis in accuracy and quality Ability to prioritize work and meet critical deadlines with excellent follow through Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently, self-starter To submit resume online Click Here  Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
