Description Organization: Public Service Location: Kingstowne, VA Accenture Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements.  These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.  People within the Client Operations workgroup are responsible for day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location. Job Description:  SAP Technical Architect for DR Consultant on the Technical Architecture/Infrastructure Team will work with the Client, ASP and the Accenture team to implement (analyze, design, build, test & deploy) the SAP Disaster Recovery (DR) solution. Key responsibilities may include:   Accountable for SAP Disaster Recovery (DR) solution. Assist with scheduling and tracking system architectural components during system design, build, and test. Work with team and other contractors to create DR deliverables. Assist with technical testing of DR and technical requirements. Work with the customer and end users to understand and define the overall application and technical requirements. Work with other technical architects to ensure that the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements. Ability to provide technical guidance, leadership and understand the complete technical infrastructure environment. Accountable for contribution of team in terms of delivery to deadlines/quality standards. Required to direct work within clear budgetary guidelines set by Technical Architecture lead. Supports business process excellence improvements within the Technical Architecture environment. Allocates resources and responsibilities within the team to deliver business results. Assist with scheduling and tracking DR system architectural components during system design, build, and test phases. Qualifications  Basic Qualifications:  2 years technical experience 1 year ASP (Application Service Provider) experience 1 year disaster recovery experience Preferred Skills:  SAP Technical Architectures: BASIS/Net weaver Operations Backup & Restore Disaster Recovery Data Center Technology and Operations (DCT&O) Network Design Professional Skill Requirements:   Proven ability to work independently and as a team member Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Strong supervisory, coaching and project management skills Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills To submit resume online Click Here Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
