We are seeking for an Application Developer to join our subsidiary company, Intellicorp Records, Inc. (www.intellicorp.net) located in Beachwood, OH. They are the leading provider of innovative decision-support products for employment and background checks and offers the best screening tools in the industry. Intellicorp seeks for an Application Developer who will be involved in design, development, and maintenance of server side applications and web services. The APD will also assist with design and development of major enhancements to existing corporate applications. This person may also be call upon, at times, to provide technical application support to other departments in the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Application Development Reviews, analyzes, and modifies applications to support the organization’s production applications. Expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Design and develop applications based on specifications received. Provide final pre-QA testing for new applications and features. Assist with day to day user technical support issues. Communicate and document results of technical support issues. Interpersonal/Communication Adheres to Intellicorp policies and procedures as published in the Employee Handbook or communicated by the officers of the company. Promotes the Company as a first class customer service organization. Take a proactive approach to problem solving. Works irregular hours in order to resolve problems or achieve departmental/company deadlines. Qualifications: BS (in Computer Science, or technical program, is preferred) degree from an accredited 4 year university or equivalent experience 2+ years experience with ASP.NET 2+ years experience programming in .NET (VB and/or C#) Must have good understanding of web services and their applications (design, deployment, integration). Must have good understanding and have worked with XML, XSL, and have experience with XML manipulation tools. Previous experience working with relational database systems, specifically SQL Server (including stored procedures). Additional web design platform knowledge highly desirable (ASP, PHP, Cold Fusion, etc.) Perform analysis, design, and programming of computer applications with a high degree of complexity. Experience creating web-based apps preferred; using HTML, MS tools & technologies: IIS 4/5, ASP, building COM components, ADO, JavaScript/VBScript, and Visual Studio 6. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system environment Must be able to continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards and be able to research, recommend, and apply new technologies as they emerge Knowledge and experience in network communication programming Excellent written and oral communications skills High quality approach to assignments Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment Basic understanding of networks and network topology Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Assist with development of new automated approaches to current systems and/or procedures.
