ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER

TradeStation Securities looking to expand its Product Management team that is responsible for TradeStation, the award-winning, state-of-the-art trading platform.  In this role, you will be responsible for understanding, prioritizing and defining customer needs, managing the product life cycle, and working closely with other teams, such as Product Development, Sales, and Marketing to help keep TradeStation on the cutting edge.

 

The ideal candidate is passionate about customers, detail-oriented, analytical, loves technology and excels at building relationships and coordinating people to drive projects to completion.

 

Responsibilities Evaluate and prioritize features that tie market research to company visionEvaluate and invent new product ideasEnjoy spending time in the market to understand the opportunities or issues, and find innovative solutionsTranslate the customer and market needs into product requirementsWork closely with engineers to specify and scope features and understand and optimize functionalityManage the feature from conception through release and beyond by collaborating with Developers, Vendors, QA, Operations and Marketing

 Requirements 1+ years experience as a product manager, product analyst or similar experience in the securities industry and/or 2+ years experience in the securities industry (Institutional brokerage experience a plus)Strong analytical, technical, verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completionA team player who can work flexible hoursSeries 3, 7 and 63 licenses (or such licenses must be obtained within 6 months)
