Accoount Executive

Position Description:

Account Executive responsible for selling technology (software and data services) and implementation services to top Retailers and e Tailers prospects in North America.

 

Specific Duties: To achieve assigned license and services annual revenue target by selling Edgenet Software and Services to target account prospects. Responsible for prospecting, pipeline building, customer briefings and working industry events in alignment with the larger business strategy. Build and maintain relationships with key executives (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO, VP merchandising, VP of IT) and departmental managers Communicate and articulate an account’s business objectives and map an account strategy consisting of software, services, training, and implementation services to exceed client’s stated ROI objectives. Lead strategic sales process and manage resources effectively. Be a self starter who can prospect and quickly qualify new name business to deliver results on a timely and consistent basis Other duties as may be assigned by members of management.

 

Position Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of sales achievement and experience in the Software industry (previous retail experience a plus). Majority if not all experience in selling software and/or technology solutions and services with complementary implementation, training and maintenance offerings. Preference for experience in selling enterprise level business application or business services solutions. Preference for experience in selling enterprise level business applications for e commerce. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quota consistently over the past 3-4 years. Ability and history of traveling approximately 50% travel in territory Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Excellent analytical skills An incredibly strong work ethic and a desire to succeed Demonstrated consultative approach to problem solving and working with your accounts 4 year degree preferably in business, engineering or related field
