Account Executive, Enterprise Software Sales
The principal responsibilities for this position are to generate revenue from lead sources and to develop new clients in the North Carolina, South Carolina territory for our IT products. Selected candidates will be expected to achieve their revenue sales target.
Additional tasks include:Prospecting, cold calling, and producing quality leads. Analyzing customer needs in terms of current business objectives. Presenting and articulating advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions. Aggressively following up on leads and closing new account business. Engaging in regular monthly and quarterly business reviews and weekly forecast activities. Meeting and exceeding revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis.

Qualifications:
Here's what you should bring to the table:BA/BS degree with 3+ years relevant outside sales experience or extensive inside sales experience within the software industry. A proven record of successful software sales experience with network management products or networking services is preferred. Strong prospecting, “solution” selling and closing skills. Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing. A desire for a long-term career in sales or sales management. An aggressive, professional, take-charge style. An ability to present effectively, and to sell, to high-level, Fortune 500 accounts. Must be motivated to have an impact on our products, our company, and the state of the art.
Location preference is anywhere in the SouthEast region from Maryland to Florida. Therefore, this position can be based either in our Cary, NC office or a "remote" home office depending on location.
