Achieves or exceeds assigned sales quotas in accordance with established policies and strategic guidelines. The ideal candidate requires exceptional State and Local Government background, consulting, and communication skills, and demonstrable track record of sales successes and exceeding sales quotas over an extended period of time.  Candidate must be able to: *Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets and product mix goals through systematic sales calls. *Create innovative and effective solutions to deal with primary and secondary business problems, and promote and sell a complete Apple solution of products and services.*Candidate should be able to develop and maintain strong account relationships and possess the ability to sell into all level accounts.  *Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of State and Local Government needs and challenges and be able to work with internal and external partners to deliver solutions.*Candidate must be highly motivated, organized and reside in territory.Candidate must be experienced in managing a variety of resources in a matrix environment. Understand complex selling cycles, contracts, State and Local Government procurement regulations, and process negotiation skills. Strong knowledge of cross platform enterprise computing environments and good understanding of how Apple fits in and stands out these environments. Normally requires BA/BS plus 5 years successful sales experience at a high level within large complex (preferably state and local) accounts or equivalent experience.Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills required. Extensive knowledge of the State and Local agencies and computer market is required.  Exceptional ability and experience to convey technical product knowledge is required. Additionally Unix and OS X experience is a plus.Candidates without a strong knowledge of the State and Local Government market will not be considered.   Perk #56: New ways to stretch your mind.
