Responsibilities:• Sell to senior executives to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibility. • Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to qualify and penetrate accounts.• Customize and deliver presentations to all levels of customer management, for each phase of the sales process.• Manage entire sales process, including complex contract negotiations. Experience and Skills Priority Requirements:• Proven success in enterprise sales• Consistently exceeded quota• Experience and success working for early-stage, high-growth companies or divisions• Supply chain background Ideal Company Backgrounds:• Selling supply chain technology solutions for a 3PL/LSP (e.g. DirectTech at Menlo)• Selling supply chain software solutions for an ISV, e.g.• SAP• Oracle / Peoplesoft / JDE• Retek, JDA• Sterling Commerce• Datasweep, Camstar, Apexon, i2, Manugistics, Siemens, Syncra Additional Information, Background:• High-energy personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hard-working environment• Significant travel is expected (50-75%)• Likely to require some self-initiated lead-generation• Likely to require self-initiated customization of sales presentation materials • Must have experience and be comfortable managing the entire sales process from lead-generation -- through contract execution – to account maintenance and mining.• Must categorize yourself as a “hunter” rather than a “farmer”.• Takes a disciplined, well documented, and well communicated approach to sales.• Articulate and persuasive oral and written communication skills.
