Accounting Associate (Full Time)

 

 

MetroWest area software company is looking for a full time Accounting Associate to join their finance team.  The hours for this job will are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.  We are looking for someone who possesses experience in the areas outlined below in addition to being a self starter and a quick learner.

Major Responsibilities include:

.Invoicing

.Order processing

.Cash receipts posting

.Processing expense reports and payables invoices

.Accounts Payable Check Processing

.File and Spreadsheet maintenance

.Handling internal and external customer requests for information

Desired background and skills:

Fundamental accounting knowledge needed and previous Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Order Entry or Invoicing experience strongly preferred.  General ledger knowledge and journal entry experience is a required.  Candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills. The person for this position should be very comfortable using Excel and windows based software packages.   Organization and attention to detail will be important, as well as the ability to work independently.  Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
