Accounting Specialist, Cash Applications

Responsibilities include the following activities.- Oversee outsourced cash posting activities - Review deposit batches for payment application - Review check deposit logs - Monitor, assess and continually refine processes - Initiate and work with technology teams regarding system enhancements - Assist with month-end close - Assists with special projects - Reconcile GL accounts - Generate monthly reports / metricsEDUCATION: HS diploma/GED or equivalent.  EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years experience.  SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Accounting Systems: Develops and/or maintains general accounting system(s). Must be computer proficient, with advanced Excel skills, and detailed oriented.
