Akamai - Powering a Better Internet. About the Team The AR Group focuses on three things: all Receivable Applications, Autoinvoicing, and Credit Requests. AR completes all cash application, credit memo/manual invoice entry, and credit card processing using Oracle. The group completes the Autoinvoicing process - accurately entering exchange rates, deliverying revenue accrual information to the GL group, and uploading Akamai's invoices into Oracle. Additonally, the group is responible for the timely review, approval, and delivery of all credit requests. About the Job The AR Credit Analyst role is a newly created role. The primary responsibility of the role involves the review and administrative processing of credit request. Key aspects of this role include research using Siebel and communication with all levels of the sales organization. Additionally, the AR Credit Analyst is responsible for processing credit card transactions, completing the Autoinvoicing process, and some manual invoice creation and entry. Responsibilities * Research and review all credit requests * Capture and reconcile all credit card receipts * Process credit memos * Create manual invoice enteries in Oracle, as required * Manage the monthly closing process to feed invoicing and accruals to the General Ledger.
