Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant in Center City

Come join a global company that continues to grow year after year! This company in Center City has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant.  Since this company is large and continually growing, you will have the opportunity to grow with them.  You will be given the chance to work hard and truly develop your career. Definitely looking for individuals who are eager to take on new responsibilities! Responsibilities: Daily cash cycle including proper cash applications from 20+ lockbox accounts, recording of bank fees and net foreign withholding tax, assisting the Collections Department as needed, and researching mystery or unapplied payments. Ensure related monthly accounting close and reconciliation activities are completed on time. Production and distribution of weekly aging reports to field offices. Calculation of Bad Debt Reserve during month end close process. Assist in the setup and testing of new Cash Application procedures as needed. Assist the field with A/R related questions. Compilation of any backup required for both Internal and External Audits of Cash and Sarbanes Oxley testing. Assisting Revenue Team as needed with special projects. Requirements: BS Degree preferred 3+ years accounting experience Familiarity with foreign currency transaction processing and related foreign exchange valuation issues Team player Highly organized and detail-oriented individual.
