Administrative Assistant
The Venture Integration team is looking for an enthusiastic business administrator to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detailed person to provide general administrative support to a dynamic team. This position will provide you with a multitude of tasks designed to expand your knowledge and stretch your skills. These responsibilities include providing proactive administrative support to the Managing Director, Finance Director, and Integration Manager Team Director, including organizing and scheduling complex calendars, coordinating meetings, conference room ownership, and arranging domestic and international travel. Group support responsibilities include purchasing hardware/supplies, fixed asset tracking, create and maintain SharePoint sites, create and maintain distribution lists, scheduling large group meetings, coordinating office set up for new hires and contingent staff, processing new vendor paperwork, and coordinating team and morale events. This position has frequent contact with all levels of Microsoft employees and managers and frequent contact with vendors and business partners. This person will need to be able to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround, as well as maintain confidentiality of information, and uses discretion and judgment. This position will require an ability to work under tight deadlines and simultaneously on numerous administrative projects. Job_Requirements: Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS degree, and/or minimum 5+ years demonstrated administrative experience in a fast-paced team oriented environment, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), exceptional customer service skills, and experience with Microsoft internal tools preferred. Important skills for this position include: excellent written and oral communication skills, solid organizational skills, strong attention to detail, demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to multi-task in a demanding work environment, prioritize competing time demands, work in a team environment as well as independently without significant oversight or instruction, the initiative to see a project through from start to finish, ability to anticipate needs, maintain confidentiality, good interpersonal skills and the ability to learn quickly and have an interest in learning new jobs, tasks and skills.
