Affiliate Marketing Manager

Reports to:   Director of Affiliate Marketing

 

Description: The affiliate marketing channel developed by Cambridge Interactive Development Corporation (CIDC) represents a significant share of total revenue to the company.  This high profile role will be charged with continuing the rapid growth, with their online marketing team, of the channel for up to 5 assigned European language markets. Candidates must have prior people management experience as well as 4-5 years of experience in online marketing, sales, or business development. Proven success in driving significant revenue growth in an affiliate marketing program, online sales or business development role is required. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive business decisions are essential.

 

Responsibilities:

 

§ Manage Partner Affiliate Marketing (PAM) teams for assigned language market to achieve company goals

§ Establish and develop close business relationships with key partners to grow both businesses

§ Assist Director of Affiliate Marketing as a key part in:


o Ddeveloping partner marketing strategy for designated markets
o Pproviding program-wide reporting on the affiliate channel in regard to growth opportunities and what we can expect from affiliates. 

 

§ Oversee execution of these plans, including reporting and measurements of their success:

o  Assisting PAM team members with execution and troubleshooting

o  Weekly status updates on language teams, including metrics

o  Partner reporting

o  Monitoring partners with special compensation or CPA arrangements every month and reporting on whether new arrangement has resulted in improved profitability for the company.

 

§ Manage Sr. PAMs and assist in their professional development as managers.

§ Oversee in-country poker tours, poker sponsorships, print buys, etc.

 

§ Manage other projects for the success of the overall affiliate program. This could include:

o  Develop ppartner promotions such as CPA or sweepstakes

o  Writing Partner newsletters and emails

o  Managing URLs, hosting, and other needs for partners with centralized and organized information for monitoring and reporting

o  Serve as central point of contact with customer service, operations, property or product management to inform PAM teams of product changes, customer support incidents, etc.

o  Work with Property Managers to develop information for use by the affiliate teams 

o  Work with Property Managers to develop creative promotions to support special offers for partner marketing

 

Additional responsibilities as required.

 

Requirements:

BA/BS with an MBA strongly preferred

4-8 years of marketing, sales, or business development experience

1-2 years of consumer online marketing experience or deep understanding of online marketing through sales or business development role

Proven management experience

 

Preference for candidates from Scandinavia (Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark) or Germany
