Job Description:
This employee / consultant will be the project lead of a large scale migration of desktops to Active Directory and the Altiris Client Management environment. Job is based at a Manhattan fortune 500 company.
Requirements / Qualifications:
5 years or more experience with Windows Server and Client Engineering and Support.
3 years or more experience with Altiris Client Management Suite, Deployment Server and Notification Server.
Expert level knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, Windows Security, Patch Management, Hardware Independent OS imaging, and networking.
Experienced in Active Directory domain migration.
Experienced in Altiris Client Management migration.
Expert level knowledge of Windows 2000, client, server, XP, 2003 and MS Office.
Experienced in MS Exchange 2003, 2007 and SQL Server 2000, 2005.
Experienced in Altiris best practices, recommendations, and methods for obtaining seamless and zero-touch PC hardware refreshes.
Experienced in HP Proliant.
Experienced in Novell NetWare.
Experienced in software packaging and scripting (Windows batch, VBScript, WinBatch).
Altiris and Microsoft Certifications a plus.
