Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer

Job Description:
In this position, you will play a technical important role in the development of analog and mixed signal ICs for CMOS image products. The candidate will technically own some significant blocks of the chip and will be responsible for design, simulation, verification and debug on the assigned design task. You are expected to provide important technical contribution to differentiate the products in the market. You will also be expected to work with other designers and layout engineers to achieve the full chip integration.

Responsibilities:
*Take active role in design some of the key analog building blocks such as high speed low noise low power op amplifiers, comparators, PGAs, switched-capacitor system, reference circuitry, bandgap reference, LDOR, ADC, DAC and system clock etc..
*Conduct transistor level design, simulation and verification
*Assist establishment of product test methodology.
*Continuous improvement of the design methodology.
*Work closely with layout engineers and participate in all layout and debug activities

*Evaluate and test first silicon prototypes at bench level

Education Requirement:
*MS in Electrical Engineering

Candidate Profile:
* 0 - 5 years of design experience in analog and mixed signal IC design.
* Excellent knowledge of MOS transistors and analog circuit design.
* Good knowledge of CMOS image sensor readout circuit design.
* Self motivated with good communication skills and positive attitude.
* Excellent design skills in several of the following areas:

- Design of low noise circuits.

- Have CMOS image sensor chip design experiences

- Design of low voltage and high speed circuits.

- Design of building blocks. E.g. OPAMP, switched capacitors, ADC, DAC etc.

- Design of phase detectors, ring oscillators, LC-VCOs, PLLs.

- Design of power management circuit such as charge pump and power regulator

- Design experience on full chip integration including analog, digital, power

IC, and I/O circuits.

- Design specialty on ESD and high speed I/O

- Design experience on MIPI interface and related ICs

- Analysis in time and frequency domains.

- Time domain behavioral modeling using high level languages (e.g.matlab, C).

- Good knowledge of scripting/language (perl, shell, tcl, skill)
