Cbr Systems, the world’s largest and most experienced newborn stem cell bank, is seeking an Analytics Application Lead to join our Information Systems team. The Analytics Application Lead will maintain overall responsibility for the day-to-day development activities related to Cbr’s internal implementation of Siebel 7.8 Analytics.  The Analytics Application Lead will be solely responsible for configuration of the Analytics Metadata.  The Analytics Lead will report directly to the Siebel Project Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

The Analytics Application Lead’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 Business Analysis

1.       Work with business representatives to understand requirements and system enhancements for all reporting and analysis aspects supported by Siebel Analytics.Siebel Analytics Design

1.       Ability to quickly understand CBR business requirements and translate this understanding to technical design specifications.

2.       Provide input into the overall design of the application as new business & technical requirements are presented.Siebel Analytics Configuration

1.       Ability to develop metadata with the Siebel Analytics Administration Tool for both minor and major releases of the Siebel application.  Star Schemas applied are Activities, Revenue, Orders, Assets, Prospects & Contacts, Opportunities, and Marketing & Segmentation.

2.       Ability to oversee development of Informatica ETL, Data Warehouse Administration Console, and Reports and Dashboards.

·         Application Testing

1.       Responsible for participating in all phases of testing for the Siebel Analytics application, most importantly the execution, and validation of test phases.

2.       Responsible for the creation of test scenarios.Deployment Activities

1.       Responsible for ensuring data repositories for Analytics, Informatica, DAC, and the webcat are prepared and turned over the Technical Architect.

2.       Provide Migration Plan to Technical Architect for deployment

 

Experience Requirements:3-4 years of Siebel Analytics implementation experience, with 1-2 years in a lead capacity.Deep technical knowledge of the Siebel Analytics Administration Tool Knowledge of data warehouse and relational database concepts Ability to transform customer requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levelsAbility to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant to the analytics application to coordinate and assist with the detailed technical design tasksFacilitation experience for conducting user design and review sessions and running stakeholder agreement meetings Familiar with business process design concepts and principles Possesses technical and functional understanding of Siebel Analytics and how Analytics fits into the overall Siebel architecture.  Candidates should have experience implementing Siebel where Analytics was a component of the solution.Possesses an expert understanding of the solution delivery lifecycle and methodology.  Candidates must have displayed a disciplined approach to solution development, change control, and deployment.Experience working with project management to address risk, schedules, budgets, and recommendations on the maintenance and enhancement of the Siebel solution.Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required, articulating concepts and ideas.Siebel Analytics 7.8 certification preferred.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, preferably with concentration in computer science / programming.
