Application Designer - Level E

Description Organization: Application Outsourcing Location: Tampa, FL People within the Client Operations-AO workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location.  Our AO resources can expect to:  Incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients. Receive ongoing training to build and extend professional, technical and management skills in all areas Enjoy our comprehensive and generous benefits package  The Application Designer concentrates on the development of detailed application design documents/specifications, which can then be handed off to developers for construction. Various tools will be utilized for the design, depending on the project and application being modified, if applicable. Tools will include Visio, Enterprise Architect, and MS Word.  Business function includes customer information and billing systems. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:  Minimum 2 years Java experience and/or minimum 2 years Visual Basic experience Candidate must be a current Accenture employee OR an Accenture alumnus with minimum 12 months experience OR a current/prior contractor for Accenture Preferred skills:  Utilities experience CIS experience IBM Websphere products/ Web Services based and/or Message Queue-based products 1+ year C# 1+ year .NET experience Issue & Risk management Project Status Reporting People development Quality & process continuous improvements Report functionality to appropriate leadership as required Client facing skills  Professional Skills: Strong client interaction skills:  Schedule and critical path management Issue and risk management skills — ability to anticipate risks and issues on complex projects across a broad range of business functions within the organization Continuous improvement skills Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Individual will also need to be comfortable following thru with individuals, both internal and external who many execute outside the process Travel Commitment:  10-20% travel to the client site could be required.  Possible to work remotely in future phases To submit resumes online Click Here  Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
