This is a full-time Application Support Engineer position with a rapidly growing and profitable software company near Palo Alto, CA.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a support engineer who enjoys working in a technical customer facing role and is looking for career advancement. A successful candidate will be technically competent and very organized. The ideal candidate will have experience with the development, implementation or support of technologies such as SQL, Java, Linux/Unix, Salesforce.com, Active Directory, LDAP and MS Exchange.Your responsibilities will range from providing customer care, to exploring database schemas, to designing and building solutions for our customers. Must be a critical thinker who can interact with and provide support to all levels of an organization.While delivering excellent support you must also be able to effectively capture input from customers and communicate their feedback to the product development team.Your role will also involve analyzing the support infrastructure and making recommendations on how the support team should scale while preserving the highest level of customer satisfaction.



Experience

BS and/or MS in a technical field or industry experience in technical positions.Comfortable demonstrating and teaching technology concepts to others.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self motivated, disciplined, with the ability to set priorities and manage competing deadlines
