 Applications Workflow Developer

Job Purpose:

As a member of the Pega IT Enterprise Business Systems team the candidate will design and implement applications using Pegasystems Process Commander toolset. The candidate is expected to translate requirements into detailed design and implementation using Java, HTML, Javascript, XML, JSP and Pegasystems Process Commander development rules. The candidate assists in defining the scope and functionality of Pegasystems solutions against an internally sourced business need and delivers the appropriate application to internal customers via hands-on product configuration.
Provide ongoing support services to internal customers ensuring continuing business benefit and optimal use of system. The candidate will work closely with software quality assurance and support during the project test and deployment process.

Key Result Areas:Supports all aspects of our application initiatives from project scope definition through requirements analysis, functional and technical design, product configuration, QA, UAT, production deployment and production support within a Project Management framework to ensure delivery of the requested functionality. Work from detailed specifications to design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality technical solutions. Provide and meet time estimates for assigned deliverables. Work with Quality Assurance to develop test plans and strategies to produce high-quality applications. Present to and work with senior management to communicate knowledge, ideas, and opinions. Participate in architectural reviews and analysis to ensure the efficacy of technical solutions. Other responsibilities and key result areas as required or assigned.

Functional Expertise
