Application Detection Engineer



This position requires strong Analytical and Communication skills and flexibility with task assignments.



Experience:  

· Working knowledge of Internetworking Technologies is required

· Experience working with Windows and Linux OS applications. 

· Experience with packet analyzers such as Wireshark or Sniffer required

· Experience with IDS (Snort, Sourcefire, etc) desired .

· Knowledge of encryption technologies a plus

· Knowledge of C/C++,Java, Perl/Python and other scripting languages is a plus .

 Qualifications:

· BS in Engineering or equivalent

· Ability to think outside the box to solve difficult problems

 Special Consideration: Candidates with research background or experience in real time traffic classification techniques and machine learning techniques would be highly desirable.
