About Us:

The Delaware Valley Municipal Management Association is a limited liability corporation (LLC) formed by the Delaware Valley Insurance Trust and Workers' Compensation Trust in 1998. Currently the Association provides internal support services to the Trusts. An expanded role for the Association may include undertakings such as conducting applied research projects, leveraging financing sources for dedicated service projects and training programs, and operating regional service bureaus for its local clientele




About the Position:

We are searching for an exceptional Applications Developer to join our team of professionals. The candidate must have a minimum two year degree in Computer Science field, including coursework in software development and major programming languages. Other required experience includes:


4+ years experience in object-oriented software design and development using a commercial programming language2+ years experience developing commercial-grade software applications using the .NET Framework utilizing C# and/or VB.NETProficiency with relational database technology including schema design, stored procedure development and SQL queries. Experience with MS Access and MS SQL Server is required.Proven problem solving abilitiesExperience with the design, development and implementation of Web Services, including knowledge of Web Service standardsMust have significant experience with MS office ApplicationsSome Experience with XML/XSLTKnowledge of Healthcare industry standards such as HL-7 and HIPAASome Network Administration experience is preferred





Duties & responsibilities include:


Ensures software applications are accurate, complete and conform to all user, design, company and regulatory requirements by Participating in the design of new software applications Developing new software applications in conformance with the design specifications and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Updating existing software applications to meet changes and enhancements in specifications Full unit testing, validating and documenting all applications using appropriate validation protocol, testing techniques and documentation methods Creating or updating software documentation to reflect current application version including user manual Help Desk support for all Applications including Microsoft Office Applications.
