Applications Programmer

Oak Adaptive is a software design company focused on customized applications to support unique business process work flows.  We are looking for an energetic Applications Programmer to join our development team.  Candidates must possess the ability to understand business concepts as well as understand how to develop organized, reliable and maintainable code.  Successful candidates must be highly motivated and able to work well within a small team.


Key Responsibilities
w Design, develop, and support client/server business applications

w Assist in developing and maintaining systems documentation

w Provide support in terms of debugging, enhancements, and documentation to existing applications

 

Required Competencies
w Knowledge equivalent to completion of Bachelors Degree in Computer Science

w Strong database background including developing and interpreting entity-relationship
diagrams and business process work flows

w Understanding of user interfaces and how they affect applications design

w Solid knowledge of SQL and PHP

w Experience with Lua scripting language a plus

w Strong analytical and problem solving skills

w Self-starter with strong time management skills

w Ability to work comfortably within a dynamically changing environment

Each line starts with a unique integer followed by a colon and one or more letters. These letters are delimited by one or more spaces.

 

  Write a short program in the language of your choice that outputs a sorted list like

 

    A: 1 4 7

    B: 4 9

      C: 1 9

      D: 1 5

      E: 7

      F: 5

 

That is, each letter that appears on the right side of the input lines now appears on the left side of the output lines, followed by a colon and each of the numbers with which it is associated.  We'll look for program correctness, runtime efficiency and logical clarity in the submissions.
