Employees in this role are key members of our ArcGIS Server software development team who provide system performance modeling, system performance testing, and enterprise configurations. We are looking for strong candidates who can perform the same duties as our customers and who can document and communicate the best practices and methods for implementing ArcGIS Server in enterprise settings.DepartmentSoftware ProductsResponsibilitiesPerform system performance testing.Investigate potential solutions to systems design issues.Configure and exercise enterprise test systems and scenarios.Research potential design solutions.RequirementsBS degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related information technology major.3 or more years experience in computer lab testing, performance benchmark testing, systems configuration, or systems performance analysis.Experience stress testing sophisticated web applications (such as ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, and services-oriented architectures).Strong analytical skills.Must be a team-player and willing to work simultaneously on multiple tasks.Recommended QualificationsGood communication skills and technical writing experience is desired.Developer experience with ASP.Net or JSP.Ability to manage complexity in simple ways.A desire to help our customers implement successful solutions.Experience in quality assurance.Systems administration background.Experience with commercial databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and/or Informix.Broad technology,storage,operating system experience.General ArcGIS product knowledge.
