Area Sales Director - Embedded BI Software

My client is a leader in software that provides seamless embedded reporting for all business applications with ad-hoc, dashboard and collaboration features. Based on cutting-edge web technologies their unique product bridges the gap between the legacy production reporting apps and the pricey (and bulky) BI tools, and yet manages to provide an intuitive and rich end-user experience. Consistent sales revenue growth has led to the need for an Area Sales Director - Embedded BI Software.My client focuses mainly on OEM/ISVs and SaaS providers and helps them seamlessly embed rich reporting and data analytics into various enterprise business applications. Their product is currently embedded into various flagship applications from industry leaders in Healthcare, Compliance, SCM/ERP and Web 2.0 Technologies. They have grown from zero to 500+ embedded enterprise installations in a short span of 18 months. Their company grew over 250% last year and continues to keep its pace of consistent revenue growth. With a largely untapped OEM/ISV market beckoning the need for rich data analysis and presentation tools on the web they are bound to grow leaps and bounds in the years to come. The Area Sales Director’s role is responsible for focused product sales of their reporting product suite and associated professional services. You will work closely with Business Development, Telesales, Engineering and Professional Services teams to find opportunities, win deals, establish and exceed customer satisfaction.   Requirements: · Ability to work effectively with remote (offshore) teams · Travel 25-40% as needed · Participation in events, expos, conferences and other marketing activities · Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field · Experience developing and maintaining relationships with ISV’s · 8 to 10+ years of product sales experience - enterprise BI/Reporting sales experience preferred · Proficient at professional product sales including consultative and solution sales, assessing customer need, presentations and demonstrations · Ability to handle (without deep resources) all the steps of the sales process including develop a sales plan including business case development, estimating, presentation, proposal, closing the sale and customer follow-up · Capable of working in a dynamic and geographically diverse corporate environment · Polished Presentation and professional sales skills – must be stellar at this! · Very Strong written communication skills and ability to converse with varied ethnic user base · Experience with an offshore development team is preferred · Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and self-motivated · Ability to work independently, but also successfully work on a teamExperience selling TO the ISV/OEM marketplace for firms like Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Informatica, Oracle, Informix, Sybase, Ascential, Actuate, Jasper Reports, I-NetSoft or similar firms would be of significant interest to my client.Compensation is $80K to $100K+ on salary w/uncapped commission for OTE of $150K to $200K+. They will cover expenses for home office or remote as needed and, of course, travel expenses.
