Aris Global: Marketing Manager

GENERAL Summary

 

Junior level marketing manager, involved in both tactical and strategic marketing efforts.  Person should be someone who is creative, experienced, results-oriented, energetic, fast-paced, and accountable.  Person should have a track record of conducting campaigns within budget and against tight deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Corporate Marketing with the coordination of marketing, advertising and promotional activities. 

 

§ Demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written

§ Experience with copy creation for marketing collateral materials, including product data sheets, brochures, spec sheets, emails, and the like

§ Create and update content of Web site pages

§ Create, edit and review copy of marketing emails for Webcasts, promotions, announcements and such that capture the readers attention and make them act on our call to action

§ Write, edit, review and ensure publication of press releases that are picked up by local, national and industry publications

§ Coordinate participation in industry trade shows and events

§ Ensure that print, online, and partner activities are integrated, providing consistent message with clear and measurable results

§ Optimize marketing campaigns to bring more and better qualified leads

§ Be able to capture and report on campaign measurements and ROI achieved

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Excellent project management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, presentation and organization skills. Must be able to work independently and creatively.

 

Proficient PC skills - Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project required writing and marketing campaign samples to be provided

 

Experience/education

Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred, but not required. 1-2 years as a business-to-business marketing communications manager, preferably in the life sciences industry and/or software industry

 

Working Conditions/travel

Minimal travel required, possibly some international. General office environment. Frequently working within tight deadlines. No special physical demands required.

 

Other

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with multiple issues at a time. Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments

 

 

Testing 

Creative writing and editing/proofreading test to be given to qualified applicants

 

Hours

Standard Hours 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday Additional hours as needed.
