Scope of Work:  The responsibilities of the Assistant Controller include but are not limited to the following duties:

· Process and maintain AP/AR transactions,

· Provide purchase requisitions and purchase orders to requesting departments.

· Process weekly check run,

· Process and maintain corporate credit card expenditures and reconciliation,

· Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts,

· Expense Report revision, maintenance and execution

· Assist in the monthly closing and reconciliations,

· Assist in the monthly financial reporting and variance analysis,

· Assist in financial audits,

· Ad hoc reporting and analysis,

· Assist in various HR duties including maintenance of employee personnel and medical files, PTO accruals and maintenance, benefits and maintenance of policies and procedures.

 

Knowledge/Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred, 2-4 years experience in accounting required, Excellent understanding and knowledge Excel and all other Microsoft Suite products - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,   Possess high organizational skills, Possess high interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor, Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
