JC 56548: Backup Administrator

 

Skills: 

• Should be well versed with backup and recovery planning and implementation.

• Experience in trouble shooting backup & recovery issue.

• Expertise in Netbackup Enterprise server (Distributed systems), Unix & Windows administration.

• Should be well versed with backup and recovery planning and implementation, Client installation.

• Experience in using monitoring framework (HP-OVO Enterprise console, Network node manager).

• Configuration,monitoring & analyzing event, alert logs and appropriate actions taking, strong trouble shooting skills in Backup environment and solving problems in a short time.

• Should have scripting knowledge.

• Should have OS experience in Windows / UNIX environment.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage & implement migration project to Windows 2003, Active Directory & Exchange 2003.

• Remote Administration using Virtual Network Computing and pc anywhere.

• Configuring, Monitoring and Maintaining of DNS, DHCP, WINS, Terminal Services and Windows Security on a Day-to-Day basis.

• Configuring, monitoring & analyzing event, alert logs and appropriate actions taking, strong trouble shooting skills in Backup environment and solving problems in a short time.

• Serve as an Active Directory Domain Administrator to Manage Users, Groups, and Organizational Units and configure the Group Policies as per the corporate security guidelines.

• Pro-active measures and preventive measure for problems and errors.

• Meeting SLA to fix the errors and problems.

• Preparing scripting tools for automation.

• Vendor coordination.

• Incident/problem research and management.

 

Experience: 4-6 Years

 

Qualification: BE / BTech

 

Work Location: Milwaukee - WI
