Bilingual Japanese Business Application Analyst

The company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese Business Application Analyst in IT dept.  The Business Application Analyst contributes to various new IT initiative implementation projects and the efficient operation of Information Technology Department and various Departments in Administration/ Sales Headquarters. This position provides specialized analytical, business, and technical knowledge related to specific business functions, process, and applications.  Liaise with other areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues; liaise with various business units to gather business-information systems requirements.Interacts with internal and external personnel in a professional manner.Responsible with other new information technology initiative implementation project.Improve business-information systems processes, gather and define business requirements.Review/ analyze/ document the business environment and processes to identify requirements, evaluating existing system functionalities and user requirements, responsible for performing gap analysis and documenting the requirements and provide recommendation for improvements.
Research / analyze information to development solutions to problems, presenting results, alternatives, and recommendations and analyze the impact a process change might have on the system.Responsible in analyzing business processes, products and operations to create detailed business requirements and communicate these requirements to the development team for the design and implementation of business solutions.Write use cases for new application development.Provide input and be responsible for creating user training manual.Responsible in testing of application and development to ensure that the applicant meets the users’ requirements and that the application is successfully developed.Use a systematic approach to elicit organize and document business and technology system requirements.

Requirement: Required: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics, and at least 2-3 years of work experience in Information Technology area; superior English and Japanese language written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of computer/ computational science, data analysis skills; strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; general knowledge on sales, purchase, distribution, account
receivable, and account payable process; Experience with application (ERP, BI, CRM, EDI, and/or WMS) implementation project and/ or software transaction system development; experience in supporting sales organization; experience with Major Enterprise System, large-scale web applications; knowledge of SQL, Web technologies; cross functional experience is highly desirable.

The Business Application Analyst must have the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under various time constraints; ability to develop strategic plans, considerable knowledge of and ability to interact with, solve problems and communicate results to individuals with diverse backgrounds; ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form; ability to establish work priorities and work independently without close supervision; ability to effectively coordinate a detailed planning process involving management staff, executive staff; ability to prepare and present narrative reports, graphs, and/or charts; ability to interact effectively with a variety of external and internal contacts; ability to brainstorm new ideas and integrate ideas into the organization; ability to adapt and change; knowledge of network operating systems, EDI, project management, ERP, BI, CRM and WMS applications; conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies; knowledge of project management techniques; ability to learn new applications; ability to synthesize new business requirements and process.
