Bilingual Japanese Electrical Engineer

The company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese Electrical Engineer. They can support visa for H1B visa.  Entry level is welcome for this positions.  Interface with the customer base and the HQ in Japan for electrical engineering and validation related topics on car alarm and remote engine starter.  Follow up and maintaining timeline(progress check) with product development team in Japan, US Manufacturing Plant, and main local client, Confirm and review final electrical manual drawings and cross reference with product development team in Japan, Create list of technical parts related to product as tool guide to main local client, submit materials and reports to respective dept., confirm project development status, maintain schedules for the dept., main contact window with Mexico Manufacturing Plant.  Obtain information requested by product development team in Japan from the customer, provide required information to the customer, perform various vehicle and product test including functional evaluation and experimental installations, test and evaluate schedule depending on vehicle availability and requires flexible and urgent travel schedule, responsible for reviewing and negotiating customer specifications and requirements, investigate and solve engineering and quality issues, create technical reports.  Prepare necessary documentation, material, reports, etc for customer engineering meetings, request necessary input to product development team in Japan as part of preparation, develop and maintain open issue list for customer engineering meetings, author minutes from customer meetings.  Gain in-depth understanding of customer requirements/requests to give clear and concrete instructions to product development team in Japan, customer plant support especially during product launch period.  Provide engineering support for manufacturing, support customer APQP/PPAP/ISIR requirements, translation of technical documents as necessary, may perform market research and product planning duties, this job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications: BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Fluent in both English(native level) and Japanese(conversational and ability to read), ability of schematics reading, hardware troubleshooting, tests and measurements, ability to prepare and perform technical presentations to OEM's, highly organized, meticulous and methodical, excellent written communication skill.  Understanding of PPAP/APQP requirements, Ability to travel internationally.
