Business Analyst - HR/Payroll/Time and Attendance

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst - HR/Payroll/Time and Attendance. This person will be responsible for conducting interviews and requirement workshops to ensure that business detailed requirements are captured and documented. In addition, this person will be responsible for identifying and documenting "as-is" processes and facilitating the development of a standardized "to-be" process for a new, enterprise Time & Attendance Solution. This person will represent the business on the Project Team for the lifecycle of the solution Implementation.

Responsibilities Include:

*Working directly with the business knowledge experts to understand business needs, issues and challenges

*Implementing a business process-based requirements approach for the organization

*Writing detailed business requirements, processes, procedures, and use cases for Time & Attendance/HR/Payroll software applications

*Ensuring sign-off on all artifacts

*Serving as a liaison between business users and the development team to ensure business requirements are achievable

*Assisting in establishing standards for user and system documentation

*Anticipating business impact resulting from technical issues

*Identifying requirements for testing, developing test plans, test cases, test scripts and executing test scripts

*Supporting the business during solution rollout

*Recommending business process improvements

*Assisting in preparation of project-phase plans and implementation schedules.

*Reporting status against work plans & schedules.

In order to Qualify for this Position:

*Background in HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance

*Experience implementing or working with packaged software systems, i.e. PeopleSoft, Kronos, Cybershift, etc

*Expert analytical and problem solving skills.

*Excellent oral and written communication skills

*Minimum 5 years business experience

*Ability to meet deliverables and deadlines with quality standards

*Ability to carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision

*Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.

*Bachelors Degree

*Big-5 Experience preferred
