POSITION:  BUSINESS ANALYST/QUALITY ASSURANCE

 

Description:

Black Mountain Systems is a software company based in the Del Mar/Carmel Valley area, serving the financial services industry. There is currently an opening for a business analyst to assist with the implementation /testing/maintenance of a trade order management and credit analysis application. The company is growing rapidly due to its quality product and strategic partnership with complimentary industry-leading software vendors.

 

You will be working with top tier developers and architects and utilizing the latest technology to implement a system that will be used by the “front officeâ€� component of major Wall Street firms.  The position will include the scoping, testing, implementation and management of new and existing client installations.

ResponsibilitiesEvaluate clients’ existing business processes to create specifications for the configuration of our system .We must deliver a customized implementation of our system that streamlines and automates efficient workflows for trade order management and credit analysisConfigure system settings and options, and execute unit/integration/acceptance testingTest product-level functionality and new releases. Identify and communicate areas for improvementEnd-user trainingSome travel required

Required Skills:Independent business analysis Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and be adept at listening and soliciting feedbackKnowledge of XML/XPath/XSLTKnowledge of basic SQL Server administration and SQL syntaxDetail Orientation, Strong Work Ethic, Team Player 

Educational Requirements:A  4-year degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited university

Experience Requirements:Previous business analyst role with demonstrated and verifiable employment related successes.

Compensation:Excellent salary and benefits package offered.No re-location packages offered at this time.
