DESCRIPTION:

The Business Process Consultant will provide expertise for customer education projects and assists in design and delivery strategies for custom-built education. The Associate can be based out of JDA offices in Naperville, IL, Rockville, MD, or Scottsdale, AZ. Virtual offices will be considered.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for achieving assigned revenue goals.Facilitates  training sessions for JDA products to all levels of  JDA associates and customers.Conducts training either at a client site, JDA office location or via Virtual Classroom environments.Identifies additional training opportunities, develops content and delivers those learning objects to generate revenue. Provides and executes consultative training sessions to address and resolve typical customer issues.Collaborates with the Content Team and other JDA groups as an SME to assist in the planning cycle for producing educational content.Works with Content Team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of educational offerings.Provides industry and solution expertise for customer education projects and assists in the design and delivery strategies for custom-built education.Provides training on industry best practices and process methodology for JDA Associates and customers.Understands how to deliver educational content for JDA solutions to better facilitate client processes.Completes assigned work within allotted time.Escalates issues that may have a negative scheduling or financial impact.Keeps individual expenses within budget.Records billable time to customer as appropriate.Records cost-transfer time to other JDA teams, as appropriate.Provides content that supports JDA’s overall revenue goals.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.5+ years experience in a retail and/or CPG environment.Knowledge of formalized training processes.Strong knowledge of supply chain business practices and processes. Product knowledge of JDA Demand required, and in addition, product knowledge of JDA Fulfillment is desirable.Ability to write in a clear, concise, organized manner with appropriate level of detail.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to travel  (~50%) as training sessions will be conducted at the client site or JDA office locations.
