Business Data Analyst


Primary Objective:

 

Analyze electronic financial and service data as key inputs to CommADVISOR, our ground-breaking system that applies enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply-chain management principles to voice and data network financial management.  CommADVISOR has been deployed to manage networks in some of America’s largest companies.  This position has been created by rapid growth within our existing client base and the need to deploy to new customer accounts committed over the next 3 to 9 months.

Responsibilities:

 

This hands-on position is responsible for the initial implementation, support and maintenance of CommADVISOR customer implementations.  A CommADVISOR Analyst deals with business data (not operational data).  The work requires detailed data analysis of contracts, bills and inventories.  Involves analyzing and making necessary recommendations to improve the efficiency and functionality of the CommADVISOR system, participating in enhancing/upgrading the CommADVISOR production process, and developing methods to track and improve overall system performance in support of enterprise users.

 

Requirements:

 

A successful track record in business data analysis of large enterprise business information systems is a must, preferably with telecom or other enterprise financial reporting systems. We're also interested in you if you have an operations background in telecom pricing, billing and ordering. Systems thinking skills are essential.  Requires advanced knowledge of Excel and Access, as well as other MS-Office tools.  Must be able to “live the data” – analyze and interpret data effectively, and be able to communicate the results to our customers and partners.  Familiarity with enterprise IT and financial reporting systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP) is a plus.  The successful candidate will be highly organized, very detail oriented, able to multitask, and able to manage time effectively while working in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent verbal/written communication skills are mandatory.In addition to the specified CommADVISOR Business Analyst position, we also have openings for CommADVISOR Contract Analysts as entry-level positions.
