Business Development Manager (Alliances)

Seagate Services, a division of Seagate Technology, is seeking a Business Development Manager (Alliances) for its EVault Alliances Team. The Alliance Manager is responsible for assisting our partners to generate revenue through the sales of our products and services. In this position you will be responsible for driving revenue through sales training, sales support and general account management for a select group of partners.

Imagine Yourself: Managing and being the main point of contact for existing alliance partners Aggressively driving partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support Managing sales orders and providing status updates to partners and/or manager Communicating effectively with partners on new products and service offerings Create systems and procedures to streamline partner management Liaising with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement partner initiatives Working under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected Providing weekly reports of funnel, pipeline and forecast
What We’re Looking For: Minimum of five years proven sales ability solving business problems through the use of technology solutions Track record of consistent over-achievement in strategic sales and/or account management environment Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Proven experience employing a solution and consulting selling methodology to achieve quantifiable business benefits for our customers Applications or storage software experience is desirable Knowledge of Operating Platforms, PC Systems, Windows, and Microsoft Office is a plus Minimum BS or BA
