Business Development Manager – Consulting Services Sales

Systems Evolution, Inc., (SEI – www.sysev.com) is an information technology consulting firm with established operations in Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Dallas and Phoenix.  We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Boston team.  Local applicants only please.

 

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of sales experience in IT professional services including prospecting, qualifying, and building and maintaining relationships with the ability to maximize existing client relationships, close deals, and open new accounts. 

 

Qualified candidates will have an extensive business network of contacts with local decision makers and experience selling in a project-based sales cycle.  Experience and effectiveness at developing business relationships with key decision makers of local Fortune 1000 companies as well as referral sources is necessary. 

 

Financial rewards for this position include a six-figure compensation plan, a rich benefits plan, and the opportunity to earn an equity stake in the local operation. 

 

Responsibilities: Revenue Attainment - Ability to meet or exceed revenue targets without compromising quality or values Revenue Commitment - Increase the long-term committed revenue base to target levels Relationship Management - Ability to build and advance relationships with key customers Lead Generation - Ability to identify and qualify leadsAbility to clearly communicate our services and value proposition to customersProvide leadership to the consultants and involve them in selling and other business processesMaintain a very high degree of integrity and professionalism in all business dealingsParticipate in communications and joint planning with corporate headquarters

 

Skills Required:Ability to meet or exceed revenue targets without compromising quality or valuesLeadership, sales, and business aptitude Business negotiation skills Knowledge of Technical Consulting services is preferredStrong interpersonal communication skills Good presentation skills Market assessment and forecasting skillsHigh degree of initiative and personal accountabilityHeightened sensitivity to 'Customer Service'
