Responsibilities – Project Sales:
· Identify and generate new clients in the Technology consulting, IT projects by prospecting and making numerous sales presentations to potential clients by phone and Internet or in-person
· Consultative selling approach, ability to build and manage relationships at all levels and negotiate client contracts.
· Gather knowledge of client needs, competitor's offerings and client's competition.
· Maintaining a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services, industry regulations, and client needs in order to identify appropriate prospects and quickly establish and grow our overall customer base.
· Effectively communicate and present the full range of our services, and how our services can benefit the client
· Maintain a level of activity, which includes qualifying prospects, scheduling client meetings, pipelining qualified candidates, and generating revenue
· Implement sales strategies and close high revenue deals.
· Identify, qualify, pursue and close new business leads developed though both outbound and inbound inquiries and involve in complete sales cycle including:
· Presentations and demonstrations of proposed solution to a potential customer’s problem.
· Managing technical validation including ability to support onsite proof of concept projects and custom demos.
· Lead closing by bagging contracts.
· Post sales relationship management.
· Reporting to the company management on the sales efforts, activity levels and status of pipelines.
· The position will focus on growing and sustaining the company's footprint, as well as writing and managing solicited and unsolicited RFI/RFP (Request for Information/Proposal) responses to clients as needed.
Responsibilities - Staffing Solutions:
· Identify the potential client IT staffing needs
· Work effectively with senior IT executives, middle management, human resources departments, hiring managers, project managers, and line- decision influencers in the marketing and technology disciplines
· Develop relationships and grow them into direct clients for their staffing needs.
· Negotiate contract rates with clients, with a focus on company profitability goals and objectives.
· Partner with internal/external resources throughout the sales cycle as needed.
· Continually evaluate past performance and strategies and strive to develop effective, customized tactics that will help the company realize revenue goals.
· Consistently build new business relationships through networking, cold calling and warm leads.
· Maintain account database. Perform update calls and gather relevant information to keep accounts current.
· Consistently provide innovative and creative selling solutions to start-ups/fortune 500 companies.
· Strong organizational skills are required in order to maintain a level of activity, which includes qualifying prospects, scheduling client meetings, pipelining qualified candidates, and generating revenue.
· Meet and exceed company's staffing targets.
· The position will focus on growing and sustaining the company's footprint, as well as writing and managing solicited and unsolicited RFI/RFP (Request for Information/Proposal) responses to clients as needed.
Skills and Position Requirement
· Minimum 7+ years of experience in business development in IT domain.
· Bachelors degree in information technology, MIS/CIS or Business Administration highly preferred.
· Knowledge of technology related business development and staffing services and IT Industry.
· Experienced with account penetration.
· Proven successful sales record in the IT Staffing and Consulting Industry.
· Extensive experience in dealing with one or more vertical markets like government, pharmaceutical, financial, banking, telecom, manufacturing, retail, media, educational institutions (small-2-large scale).
· Proven ability to identify, shape and convert business opportunities into contracts.
· Proven capability to develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end.
· Experience in selling IT solutions and services.
· Must possess exceptional people, communication and presentation skills.
· Unrelenting focus on quota attainment and committed to professional growth
· Excellent influence and negotiation skills
· Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong Computer skills
Relocation: Should be able to work basing out of the Corporate Headquarters in Overland Park, KS.
Travel: The position requires about 75% of travel
