GENERAL DESCRIPTION

 

iTKO is a fast growing technology company based in Dallas, TX with offices in the 635/35 area.  iTKO has been recognized by national and local media for its innovative products and dynamic market position.

 

This position is critical to the success of our sales organization.  A Business Development Manager is responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and networking activities.  Customer interaction will comprise the majority of the workday in the form of telephone, E-mail and Webex communications in an effort to sell and market iTKO’s SOA Quality and Virtualization products.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Prospecting, lead generation and setting appointments for a sales team throughout the US and Canada.

· Tracking and management of current and potential customers through the use of Salesforce.com and other systems.

· Professional presentations and demonstrations of iTKO products. 

· Responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

· Participation in regular marketing programs and activities.

· Responsible for providing reports on sales activity, sales forecasts and other quantifiable sales objective measurements.

· Perform other job related duties as required.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

· 2-3 years sales experience in telecommunications/Internet/software sales

· Proven oral and written communication skills

· Strong work ethic

· Independent working and decisions making skills

· Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

· Easily adaptable to a fast-paced environment

· General understanding of complex technology concepts

· Ability to demonstrate sales process

· Bachelor’s degree required
