Dunn Solutions Group is an IT solutions provider specializing in the practice areas of Strategic Planning, Web Design, Business Applications, Business Intelligence, Quality Assurance and Technical Education.

 

Dunn Solutions Group is currently seeking a qualified Business Intelligence Consultant . This is a position which REQUIRES experience with Business Objects Designer, Web Intelligence, and Desktop Intelligence products.  This resource will be responsible for development and delivery of reporting solutions across all industry groups. 

Applicants must be willing to travel up to 35% (mostly East coast) for various clients.

 

 



Successful applicant will have the following:MUST have hands on experience with the Business Objects Designer product and must be able to build universes from the ground up in both dimensional and transactional schemas.  .MUST be able to build complex reports in both Desktop Intelligence (full client report tool) as well as Web Intelligence. Exposure to XI release of product beneficial. Experience with user and content management in XI release beneficial. Tailor work processes, techniques, methods, and practices to meet project requirements. Make reasoned decisions after assessing customer's circumstances. Identify and investigate customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provide recommendations, alternatives, risks, and benefits to the Project Manager (or designated customer representative). Work effectively under limited supervision in a rapidly changing environment. Identify and respond to customer questions, issues, and service opportunities. Reports on work accomplishments and identify implementation issues in a logical, clear, and thorough manner. Strong oral presentation and written communications skills. Strong time management skills. Candidates with other business intelligence skills such as data warehouse design, ETL tools (Informatica, Data Integrator), etc. are highly desired.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

2+ years Enterprise ETL tool experience (Informatica or Data Integrator or Acta preferred, others possibly acceptable)

2+ years star schema data modeling experience

2+ years Data Warehousing experience

2+ years Enterprise reporting tool experience (Business Objects preferred, Cognos and possibly others acceptable)

Location: Charlotte, NC  or Raligh, NC
