About the Position:

The Business Objects Administrator and Report Developer will take the lead with the implementation and support of Business Objects reports and products in a Data Warehouse environment. This individual will manage and administer a Business Objects environment including application patching, version upgrades, security and troubleshooting. This person will also be responsible for developing complex reports and supporting reports developed by customers.

Candidate Requirements:

Education:

BS/BA Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent education, training and experience.

Skills and Experience:

Skills typically acquired through at least 5 years progressively more responsible experience in complex system administration. At least 3-5 years of SQL development experience with Oracle 9i or higher, or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of Crystal reports development with Crystal XI R1 or higher. Experience installing, configuring, administering and upgrading Business Objects XI R1 or higher on Windows servers. Experience with the Business Objects Central Management Console. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of personnel in discussions and explanations of complex systems. Strong communication skills, including effective oral presentation skills and excellent writing skills. Demonstrated ability to manage projects pertaining to the information system. Proficiency with other business related software applications (i.e., MS Word, Access, Excel, etc.).

Preference will be given to candidates who have expertise in some or all of the following: Experience with architecting, developing, and deploying Business Intelligence solutions with Business Objects XI R1 or higher, including, but not limited to, Web Intelligence, OLAP Intelligence, and OLAP Analysis. Experience with deploying reports with drill down, bursting, graphics, Business Objects Universe, and multiple sub-reports. Experience with developing dashboards for executive information users, with trending and period-over-period reporting. Experience with deploying the Business Objects Audit functionality.
