You will utilize your business knowledge and logical, analytical math mind, as we train you as a Programmer Analyst to support the Comprehensive Life Administration System (CLAS) for our largest client. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in future products and technology as we continue upgrades. Our facility is located on South Dixie Hwy near SW 19th Avenue (Coconut Grove area).Reporting to the Director of Administrative Systems, you will be a part of a close knit, supportive team with a track record of great stability. This is a new position. To be successful, you will master the systems quickly and work effectively as a fully integrated team member.What you will do:Develop and support programming for the core life insurance administration application (CLAS) Apply programming changes per specifications, thoroughly unit test and document program modifications.Production support including problem resolution/process emulation/research in response to customer inquiries and rotating off-hour duty.Perform integration and regression testing Demonstrate ability to work in small, close-knit teams with changing priorities.Communicate project status and issues. Position Requirements:Skills and Experience you will need:Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields. • Ability to quickly master programming Big Pluses if you have:• Exposure to software development on large transactional financial applications. • Any knowledge of insurance, annuity, or investment applications; actuarial background; or LOMA certifications.Benefits:
