The Role & Experience Required

 

The Business Solutions Consultant is considered an industry and product expert. The role is primarily responsible for working with the Sales, Product Management and Marketing to provide analysis recommendations. This role will help to provide domain expertise to the Sales group, Product Management and Marketing teams to drive better products to markets.  This role is also responsible for providing client specific analysis and advice for our large and small corporate accounts.  To ensure that the solutions are tailored to an individual’s customers or prospects workflow, process reviews may be created.

 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of management or IT consulting experience, preferably in a Big 4 environment.  Experience serving casualty insurance industry clients is preferred.  The candidate must be able to work well across business functions with other senior executives and managers, as well as across geographies.  He/she will be a person of the highest integrity and will possess strong communication skills with an optimal mix of empathy and self-confidence.  Successful candidates will generally possess the following qualifications:

 

· A Bachelor’s Degree is required, however, and MBA is highly preferred.

 

· Ideal prospects for this role will possess at least two to three years of experience selling consulting or solutions.

 

· They will have two to three years experience on strategic engagements.

 

· It is critical that prospects being considered for this role have business development experience and a high comfort level presenting to CxO and VP levels.

 

· The consulting professionals considered for this role will possess a minimum of 3 years of business process design and development experience.

 

Ideally, the professional services executives considered for this role will be familiar with insurance claims or underwriting system design
