Business Systems Analyst

Job Description:

 

The Innovations Business Systems Analyst will work in our Product Innovations team interacting extensively with new clients, prospective clients, Product Managers, Sales, IT and Developers.

Business Systems Analyst will design product features from concepts and transform them into viable development projects.

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for drafting feature definitions and functional attributes derived through research, customer correspondence and internal networking. The Business Systems Analyst will design system specifications and oversee implementation. The Business Systems Analyst will employ extensive balance of both business and technical knowledge to understand the needs generated from ideas, translate them into technical specifications and explore expansion of these ideas.

 

 

 

 Primary Responsibilities:

 

 Works with management, clients, and client services to form and refine business requirements of new product concepts. Assist in communicating the product vision and value proposition.Write detailed business requirement documents and collaborate with product managers and clients on definition of system requirements and enhancements. Create concept designs, prototypes, and technical specifications and oversee initial production development life cycle.Assist Product Management with defining marketing strategy and Product positioning.Support Product Management, sales and marketing teams by acting as a product expert in sales demonstrations, partner presentations, and trade conference.Becomes a subject matter expert in the relevant product domainsCreate product specifications that provide simple yet elegant solutions and strives to ensure consistent intuitive design.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous deliverablesProven client service skills in a highly demanding environmentAt least 5 years experience working as a business analyst/product manager preferably in the capital markets or other relevant industry.Demonstrate a passion for product ownershipFluent with Microsoft Office technologies, familiarity with graphics and presentation software (ex. Photoshop).Excellent technical skills: Familiarity with development technologies, architectures and technology trends. Proven ability in translating business requirements in to software solutions for new products. Prior involvement with high visibility productsStrategic thinker
