REQUIRED SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Candidates MUST have 5+ years experience functioning as a business analyst in a hands-on role encompassing the following specific experience: Prior experience with a content management system is preferred but experience with website specification or management will suffice. Awareness of basic concepts of content workflow, web metrics, online search technologies, content organization is required. Hands-on experience required in documenting various types of project artifacts like Scope documents, Business Rules, Use Cases, Process Flow Diagrams, Content Analysis, Page flow and navigation requirements, Technical Specification, Performance Requirements, Vendor Contracts, and User Guides. Skilled in Microsoft suite of tools - PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel.

Candidate should possess strong written and oral communication skills and should be driven by customer satisfaction.  This is a customer-facing position.

PREFERRED SKILLS:Prior experience with web-related tool/product and/or vendor selection Prior experience with content Management tools a significant plus

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and managing System and Business requirements (functional and non-functional) for multiple concurrent projects. The candidate will formulate the requirements gathering process and provide support to the Project Manager during the project SDLC. 

The position requires analysis and documentation of all application requirements for multiple projects and implementations with minimal supervision, while interacting with the Architecture, Infrastructure, Development and Quality Control teams.  A strong understanding of business goals and objectives is key.

The position will focus heavily on requirements gathering and documentation for projects and implementations related to delivering inter/intranet websites using a content management system platform.

The Systems Analyst will help with coordination of tasks across multiple departments and report to the Senior Project Manager.

Interpersonal, language and communications skills are of primary importance as the work involves direct contact with the business customer. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with the Business team and site owners to solicit requirements, document requirements, identify issues, manage scope, and provide input as a subject matter expert. Work with the Quality Assurance and Development groups to deliver technical specifications, project requirements, supplementary specifications, and other artifacts. Work with the Middleware, Quality Assurance and Development groups to estimate effort and document detailed WBS. Conduct regular status meetings and deliver detailed weekly status reports to the management. Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure that the project deliverables are completed in time and within budget
